TR-X hitting a race course in France
26th March 2014
First stage of French slalom championship (March 14th to 16th): We only had a 3 hours windows with gusty north wind; I was using 8.4 and then 7.7 with gusts up to 28 knots. Sails are definitely more stable I finished 16th overall and first in masters.
The next day there was first race for the French national long distance tour; I won after 5 races (1, 2, 2, 5 and 4). We were using sails in the 6.5 range (6.3 for me) that can recover a lot of power once you are ready to reduce outhaul tension. This of course put some more pressure on the board as well making it less versatile.
