The 2006 MauiSails Switch is destined to become the sail of choice for the widest range of windsurfing experiences.
It will excel in the new
competition format of Super-X but still satisfy your every need as a
modern day freeride sail. It has the performance to excite any sailor
interested in flat out speed, with loops, duck jibes, and chop hopping.
Kevin's first experience in a Super-X event prompted him to ask that we completely focus on more specific performance characteristics. He wanted increased stability for speed and control in maneuvers, stable tube/rod battens for handling ease, and a powerful outline with a straighter leech gives this sail all the bottom end necessary for beach starts.
Materials are chosen for maximum stability and durability as necessary. A bold graphic, and rugged edge ply's guarantee the best combination of weight and strength with no compromise in performance.
The Switch is ideally suited for use with MauiSails SRS 75% or 55% carbon masts and SRS RDM wave masts.
