For the first American Windsurfng Tour stop at Santa Cruz Goya Windsurf Festival we pretty much all arrive one day before the contest for the Goya demo. On that day condition was good and i could spend some time in the water to get used to the spot and the conditions especially the cold water. It was fun to train on the spot with all the other riders.

Next for the first day of the contest the wind drooped, but the forecast was looking good for the rest of the contest so without any pressure I went to visit with my girlfriend a natural park couple miles up wind for Wadell Creek Beach Park, where we could see a lot of sea lions and elephant seals, we also went to Santa Cruz for cruse :). The day after that conditions were perfect to run the contest and we start with the single elimination, as you could see there were lot of really good guy's so we had a tough heat since the beginning so it was hard to get in the top of the ranking but I managed to rich the semi final and i missed the final from almost nothing (couple point). They could finish the final of the single and announce the winner - Levi Siver. So I was excited to sails again and have my second chance in the double elimination and we got lucky because on the next day it was windy and wavy enough to run the double elimination until my heat (Tyson Poor, Francisco Goya, Josh Stone and I) I won it, but unfortunately the condition went down just after my heat so I couldn't fight back for the podium :( I end up finished 5th because I won that last heat but I'm gonna work hard to have a better ranking for the next event.
