What a journey! We started off in Berlin and got the 3 hour train ride up to Szczecin. We saw nothing but snow since we got off the plane in Berlin, kinda exciting for a few boys from Hawaii.

When we finally arrived in Szczecin we got picked up by Maciek and Witek who are our importers in Poland. We spent the afternoon having meetings and discussing the market in Poland. Evening came early around 5pm, at least that is when the sun went down. We were meet by Bogo for dinner and around 7pm we did a MauiSails product presentation at an old theatre. That was attended by about 40 of the local sailors. Later in the evening we got to socialize with the group and few of us partied late into the evening.

“I remember walking out of the old theatre and looking up to see snow coming out of the sky like heavy rain, it was completely silent, but quite the experience, slashing through the snow back to my hotel. Just yesterday I was in Greece sailing now look at what is around me”. Said Phil.

The next day was a repeat of the day before, getting back on the same train and heading back down to Berlin. Another successful visit on the Phil and Barry European Tour.
