After 3 months of training at Spinout France, I went to Podersdorf the 25th April taking part on my first PWA. The event was huge and the competition well organized. I was welcome cordially and I met for the firsttime pro riders and  I have spoken with some of them like Taty Frans who introduced me the Loco Pro, the new 2014 freestyle range with 4 battens, it looks compact and lightly !

Registrations were the Friday 26th April and the competition has begun the 27th because the day before we didn't have wind. I was prepared and not nervous, I started with my 4.8 Loco and came back few minutes later for change with my 4.4 Loco, wind was rising at 30 knots. I won my first heatag ainst the estonian Tony Mottus with a burner, a skopu and konos on both tacks. In my second heat, I met Dieter van der Eyken ( 8th 2012 PWA rank ).The heat started badly with a big crash on my first burner attempt but Dieter also crash several times in really hard conditions. He did burners in both sides and few solid moves. I lost but I was happy of my 2 heats.

At the end of the Simple Elimination, organizers decided to continue with the Double Elimination the same day, I didn't think that is possible. I met Rick Jendrusch in the first heat. I was focused and concentrated but, unfortunately I lost after a really good start (5 moves without crash) but my competition inexperience and especially my fatigue didn't help me and I felt two times on a burner attempt... 5/8 moves it was not enough for the judges. I finish this event at the 33th place,  I would have liked to get a good result but it was still a good experience. The second Simple Elimination was posted the next day but the wind was too weak to compete again.

The next event will be at Fuerteventura, Sotavento, and  I will do my best for not finish last, win some heats and maybe grabbing a good ranking !
