Fuerteventura did delivered good freestyle conditions this year as we did managed to do 2 full double elimination. I arrived 5 days before the event to get used to the conditions it was worth it as the wind was was more then 35 knots the whole 5 days earlier. Perfect for me to get used to the smaller loco pro size 4.0 and 4.4. I only did use the 4.4one  day as the wind was getting really strong and I spend the mostly the last days on the loco pro 4.0.

As the event start the wind just got lighter and not the same as the previous days before, so it kinda got not what I expected. My heats where good i really toke it to easy and safe to not to crash as I wanted to make sure that my landing of my moves where as clean as possible, but this made me lose as I got to the top 5.

I really wish we had the same wind conditions as the previous days then my results would have sure been on that podium.

Well i really still believe that i still have what it takes to be on that podium and i am not losing that hope. Gollito in my eyes still deserve that win he sailed brilliant and knows exactly what the judges wanted. Kiri with a perfect second place.

I am not sure about that 3rd place of steven, I really believed that Duncan should have had a resail on friday between Tonky and Steven. because the conditions where worse on thursday during the heat of Kiri vs Gollito. As for me a 7th place is what I got and i am sure to make this better in holland, I learn from my mistakes. Here in Fuerteventura my loco pro 4.0 was working really really good, i really got used to it and this light feeling of this sail made me rotate in to perfect pushloops, air chachoo's, backlogs, kabikuchi, spock culo, skip, pasko and more. I just love the Loco pro, and at this moment I love the 4.0 4.8 5.2.

I am really looking forward to Holland as this will be the next pwa freestyle event and it should get perfect 4.8 5.2 conditions and with these loco pro size I feel really really good sailing with them. Well at this moment i am 7th overall in the freestyle and I am going to move to the top 5 before the end of the year. This is my goal and I will be working hard to get this.

My next windsurf event will be in 3 days, where I will be competing the ENDLESS SUMMER SPORT FESTIVAL in Curacao it will start on the 1st till the 3rd of August. Writing this I am in the Madrid airport waiting to catch the next flight to holland then Bonaire together with Kiri, Choko, Bjorn, Maxime and Amado.
