MauiSails Team Captain, Kevin Pritchard, put together a solid racing event this week on the beautiful Isle of Lanzarote, Spain. Faced with some heavy competition, Kevin battled his way back from an early sixth place position to finish the event in second, maintaining a top ranking in Slalom for the year. Taty Frans also had some solid races, even taking a fourth in one round, proving that the Freestyle master can rip it up in the racing, especially when he was powered up on his TR-3's!

Kevin said, "I'm really happy to come back from such a poor start. I wasn't getting my starts spot on early on in the event. I made some changes to my gear and tactics and this put me back on my game. The competition is at a very high level with everyone pushing the line hard. The gybes are tight, and it's really anybody's game out there. You can see there are a lot of people that aren't that consistant. Everyone is battling it out, and it's a race to the finish everytime. My TR-3's were working really good. I used the 6.6 and the 8.4 most of the event and they were flying."
