2009 Switch
Bump-Jump
Although Super-X is no longer a PWA racing discipline, the excellent light wind speed and balance of the larger Switch, and the radical jumping and freestyle maneuvering of the smaller sails, has been further enhanced by continuing the pursuit of soft rig tension and a powerful twisted shape.
Tube/rod battens at three stations, stable film body panels, and the evolved graphic are part of the reason the Switch is such a good performer. This year there is a more durable XPly™ vertical panel behind the high tenacity polyester luff, a tough and resilient sleeve material, and reduced weight in the anti-chafe areas. The new batten tensioners reduce wrinkles and properly load the leeches for the most accurate tension.
